It is an outstanding value for someone who wants a nice racquet without spending a ton of money. At this price, it is even worth considering as a backup or for a friend who needs to borrow a racquet. This racquet is a titanium mesh alloy. What’s the big deal about titanium? Simply put, titanium has an incredible strength to weight ration. With it, you can have incredibly strong frames without it being excessively heavy. Stronger frames resist breaking which is always important and allows for greater rigidity helping you have more accuracy and transfering more power to the ball. If titanium is so great how come everything isn’t made of titanium? The answer–cost. It is super-expensive. So, to get a titanium based racquet for an affordable price is not easy. This racquet features a modified teardrop face with non-perpendicular stringing. This has been proven to give a larger sweet spot. Even if your shot is not exactly centered, you have a better chance of getting off a decent shot with a greater margin of error. Additionally, this racquet features a bi-stem neck with a built-in dampening elastomer. The weighting of the racquet is somewhat head light–great for touch and feel.
